Founded in 1990, the Wound Healing Society is a non-profit organization whose aim is to "advance the science and practice of wound healing". Comprised of physicians, practitioners, and researchers from around the world, its current membership numbers approximately 500. By bringing people together the Society provides a platform for discussion amongst health practitioners, industry representatives and government agencies.
